Om Shanti Mantra

The focus of this mantra is to bring complete peace and stillness within. Focus on the heart center as you repeat this mantra. On the inhale think the word “Om”. Think this Om slowly for the full duration of the inhale. Allow a brief pause in your breath and your thought at the end of the inhale, before beginning the exhale. On the exhale, think or say in a gentle voice, the word “Shanti”. Extend the word slowly for the full duration of the exhale. Focus your complete attention on the word. Allow a brief pause in your breath and the word at the end of the exhale, before beginning the next round.

The mantra is repeated 108 times.
